Megabass LEVANTE P3 Casting Rods

The redesigned 2026 Megabass LEVANTE P3 casting range brings eight distinct approaches to bass fishing into one series: ultralight BFS, deliberate jerkbait work, moving baits, bottom contact, heavy cover and large swimbaits. Each model has its own loading character and working range. Start with the technique you fish, then match the rod's taper, lure rating and line rating to your setup.

Yuki Ito's Project Zero team reworked LEVANTE using lessons from the US-Spec OROCHI XX and DESTROYER programs. P3 introduces High-Density X-Graphite construction, a revised guide system and application-specific ITO ergonomics, with reel-mounted balance central to the design. This is the new P3 generation; familiar LEVANTE model names do not mean unchanged actions. The P3 Jerkbait Special, for example, has a slower taper than its predecessor for a more forgiving jerkbait rhythm.

What changes with LEVANTE P3

• High-Density X-Graphite: Model-specific graphite layering and reduced excess resin support consistent action, responsive recovery and improved balance. The blank combines direct lure control with a progressive response under load.
• Technique-matched guides: Guide sizing and placement are matched to the intended taper and application, supporting smooth load distribution and controlled casting.
• ITO-designed contact and grip: Ergonomic reel-seat designs and a precision-machined aluminum hood focus on stable reel mounting, sensitivity and comfortable handling. The seat configuration varies with the model's fishing role.

Each model below retains its own applications and complete manufacturer specifications. Select the matching Model option above; lure examples should be used within the stated rod rating.

F1-65LV BFS spec-UL

Bring ultralight presentations to a baitcasting setup with the LEVANTE P3 BFS spec-UL. Its 6-foot-5 ultralight blank and slow taper load smoothly with small hardbaits, compact jigs, and weightless plastics. That forgiving action supports walking and darting plugs as well as small crankbait retrieves.

Designed for bait finesse bass fishing and crossover trout applications, this model suits precise casts around tight cover. Pair it with an appropriate BFS reel and lures within the stated rating for a compact setup that rewards controlled placement and deliberate lure action.

F4-610LV JERKBAIT SPECIAL

Find a consistent jerkbait rhythm with the LEVANTE P3 Jerkbait Special. Its 6-foot-10 medium light casting blank uses a regular taper to combine spring-back for lure action with a forgiving bend when fish strike. The model is designed around the VISION ONETEN family, from ONETEN Jr. through ONETEN+1.

Carefully tuned guides and blank response help you manage slack line and adjust lure movement. This model also handles suitable treble-hook topwaters and crankbaits; Megabass points to the Diablo-LV when a more aggressive ONETEN+2 presentation is needed.

F4.1/2-71LV RUN&GUNNING

Cover water efficiently with the LEVANTE P3 Run & Gunning. The 7-foot-1 medium casting blank and medium fast taper are tuned for moving baits, pairing enough tip firmness to release a lure from vegetation with a yielding bend under load. Bladed jigs, swim jigs, spinnerbaits, and shallow crankbaits are central applications.

This is a practical choice for repeated casts along weed edges and transition areas. Its X-Graphite construction supports responsive recovery and cast control while retaining the forgiveness needed to keep fish connected during the fight.

Specifications

F5-72LV DIABLO-LV

Carry one casting setup across several moving-bait and cover presentations with the LEVANTE P3 Diablo-LV. The 7-foot-2 medium blank and medium fast taper suit topwaters, swim jigs, spinnerbaits, bladed jigs, and Texas rigs. The blank loads progressively for cast placement and provides useful power around vegetation.

Diablo-LV also complements the Jerkbait Special when you step up to larger jerkbaits, heavier line, or more aggressive rod work. Its balance of lure-driving tip response and forgiving bend gives this model broad utility without losing a clear technique range.

F5.1/2-74LV SLEEPER CONTACT

Read the bottom and work through structure with the LEVANTE P3 Sleeper Contact. This 7-foot-4 medium heavy casting rod uses a fast taper for presentations such as DARK SLEEPER, SLEEPER CRAW, jigs, Texas rigs, free rigs, and dense worms. The length supports longer casts and controlled movement around underwater obstacles.

Although bottom contact is its primary role, the blank loads smoothly enough for selected deep-cranking applications within its rating. Use that combination when your setup needs a responsive tip for contact and vegetation, plus a deeper bend as resistance builds.

Its responsive tip supports controlled bait movement while the stronger lower section supplies power under load. The blank’s progressive bend also accommodates suitable walking topwaters, giving this cover-focused model another useful role when fish move toward the surface.
